Felipe has handled Original Film Music Compositions and Audio Post / Sound Design for international Series, Documentaries and Films since 2001.
At the same time he has worked on the production of albums for local and international artists. He has also worked on field production recordings, Foley and worked on SFX field recording and design for international movie production companies. He graduated from The University of Art in Seattle, WA where he honed his composition tools and passion for the Arts and Music.
"Our clients cover a spectrum that includes the TV & Film Industry, Directors, SFX Companies, Music Artists and Animation Industry." As an artist he created an immersive audio/music installation project called Núcleo Concordia which has been invited to participate in festivals and art fairs such as Feria Voltaje de Bogotá, Art Basel week Mana Contemporary Film Gate Miami and music festival Moogfest in Durham, NC, USA.
Felipe ha trabajado en la composición de Música Original y Audio Post/Sound Design para series internacionales de TV, documentales, cortometrajes y largometrajes desde el año 2001. Paralelamente ha trabajado en la producción de discos para artistas locales e internacionales. También ha diseñado librerías de SFX para productoras internacionales como Sound Ideas y Hollywood Edge.
"Nuestros clientes cubren un espectro que incluye la Industria de Cine y TV, Productoras, Directores, Artistas, Estudios de Animación..." Como artista tiene su proyecto paralelo de arte sonoro immersivo llamado Núcleo Concordia, el cual ha sido invitado a participar en la Feria Voltaje de Bogotá, semana Art Basel Mana Contemporary Film Gate Miami y el festival Moogfest en Durham, NC, USA.

La cerveza Club Colombia y Bavaria, a través de la Fundación Bavaria, presentaron el programa ‘En Busca del Orgullo Perdido’, una iniciativa de responsabilidad social a través de la cual destinarán cerca de 1.000 millones de pesos para rescatar y preservar tres técnicas artesanales del país que mejor encarnen los conceptos de maestría, tiempo y dedicación.
Para preseleccionar las técnicas a rescatar la compañía invitó un panel de antropólogos, diseñadores y empresarios, quienes identificaron más de 50 técnicas que se encuentran en peligro de desaparecer.
Posteriormente se hizo otra preselección y quedó un grupo de 10 técnicas preseleccionadas las cuales son: los Peyones Wayuú de La Guajira, los Tejidos de Algodón de Charalá, la Alfarería de Ráquira, la Sombrerería de Ancuyá, la Filigrana del Chocó, la Marimba de Chonta de Guapi, las Alpargatas de Guacamayas, la Talla en Madera del Amazonas, la Cestería de Esparto y la Cestería de Paja Tetera de Nariño.
Club Colombia Beer and Bavaria , through the Bavaria Foundation, presented the program El Orgullo Perdido'In Search of Lost Pride', a social responsibility initiative through which they will spend close to 1,000 million pesos to rescue and preserve three craft techniques from Colombia that best embody the concepts of mastery, time and dedication. To preselect these techniques to rescue, the company invited a panel of experts among anthropologists, designers and entrepreneurs, who identified more than 50 techniques that are in danger of disappearing. Subsequently another pre-selection was made and a group of 10 preselected techniques were left: Peyones Wayuú of La Guajira, Cotton Fabrics of Charalá, Pottery of Ráquira, Sombrero of Ancuyá, Filigrana of Chocó, Marimba of Chonta Of Guapi, the Alpargatas of Guacamayas, the Wood Carving of the Amazon, the basketry of Esparto and the Basket of Straw Teapot of Nariño.

Sombrerería de Ancuya (Ancuya- Nariño)
En una tierra en donde los jornales de los hombres no alcanzan para mantener el hogar, la mujer más que ayudar, saca la cara y a punta de sus raíces saca a los suyos adelante. Es un proceso artesanal completamente familiar; unos consiguen la palma, otros la pone a hervir y luego la dejan secando. Las mujeres la hilan y comienzan a tejer. Entre tejidos cuidan la casa, trabajan la tierra y mantienen a la familia.
Headgear of Ancuya (Ancuya- Nariño) In a land where men's wages are not enough to keep the home, the woman more than help, she takes the face and at the end of her roots she pulls her own. It is a completely familiar artisanal process; Some get the palm, others put it to boil and then leave it to dry. The women spin it and begin to weave. Between tissues they tend the house, work the land and support the family.

Textiles de Algodón de Charalá (Charalá - Santander)
Este es un grupo de mujeres que son capaces de convertir con sus manos un cultivo de algodón orgánico en una camisa lista para usar, usando procesos minuciosos que aseguran la seguridad del ecosistema. Ellas recogen el algodón, lo hilan, lo tiñen naturalmente, lo tejen y lo convierten en piezas únicas.
Cotton Textiles of Charalá (Charalá - Santander) This is a group of women who are able to turn an organic cotton crop into a ready-to-wear shirt with their hands, using meticulous processes that ensure ecosystem safety. They collect the cotton, spin it, dye it naturally, weave it and make it into unique pieces.

Cestería de Paja Tetera -- (Asentamiento Nueva Bella Vista- Cauca)
A lo largo de la historia la mujer ha sido la encargada de cuidar a los niños y el hogar. En la cestería de paja tetera, una tradición del Pacífico colombiano, las mujeres encontraron el equilibrio perfecto para mantenerse unidas, trabajar, cuidar la casa, educar a los niños y mantener viva su cultura. Por medio de sus artesanías, le enseñan al mundo sus raíces y luchan por que esta tradición no caiga en el olvido.
Straw Baskets Teapot - (New Bella Vista Settlement - Cauca) Throughout history the woman has been in charge of taking care of the children and the home. In straw basketry, a tradition of the Colombian Pacific, women found the perfect balance to keep together, work, take care of the house, educate children and keep their culture alive. Through their crafts, they teach the world their roots and fight for this tradition not to be forgotten.

La técnica y la historia se juntan para preservar una tradición campesina. Una tradición que se adapta perfectamente a materiales nuevos y permite que la artesanía conviva perfectamente con el mundo moderno. El contraste entre campo y ciudad, resulta en una nueva forma de vivir y preservar la cultura.
Basketry of Esparto (Tinjacá - Boyacá) Technique and history come together to preserve a peasant tradition. A tradition that adapts perfectly to new materials and allows crafts to coexist perfectly with the modern world. The contrast between countryside and city, results in a new way of living and preserving culture.

Peyones Wayuú (Ranchería Maku- Guajira)
Un tejido que los abuelos le enseñaban a los padres y ahora los padres están buscando a quien enseñarle. Combinaciones únicas de colores que ya no tienen caballos a quien adornar. Combinaciones, que no parecen salidas de un ojo acostumbrado a ver solamente azules profundos y amarillos inmensos en el desierto.
Peyones Wayuú (Ranchería Maku- Guajira) A fabric that the grandparents taught the parents and now the parents are looking for who to teach. Unique combinations of colors that no longer have horses to decorate. Combinations, which do not look like an eye used to seeing only deep blues and immense yellows in the desert.

Este instrumento es la alegría de un pueblo y es además patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad. La conexión entre el artesano y la madera va más allá del trabajo, es una mezcla de corazón y oído que le da los tonos a cada tecla. Cuando alguien se muere tocan la marimba porque la alegría le ayuda al alma a llegar al cielo más rápido.

This instrument is the joy of a people and is also intangible heritage of humanity. The connection between the artisan and the wood goes beyond work, it is a mixture of heart and ear that gives the tones to each key. When someone dies they play the marimba because the joy helps the soul to reach the sky faster.

Desde que le piden permiso al árbol para cortarlo, hasta que un dibujo se convierte en una historia tallada a mano sobre madera; la talla del Amazonas es una de las técnicas artesanales más llenas de mística y conexión con la naturaleza. Los artesanos plasman sus historias e inmortalizan sus raíces en una obra de arte llena de colores naturales y sentimientos profundos.

Hoy hay artesanos que hacen esas mismas alpargatas, las de hace 200 años, con la misma técnica que protegió los pies de nuestros héroes. Una técnica que a pesar de tener más de dos siglos de historia, está desapareciendo.
Those who fought for our independence did not wear boots, they wore espadrilles.
